Instead of packing my stuff tonight,
I went with my mum to shop for TW stuff,
picnic stuff and change currency..

With our heavy loots,
we went home first then head out to support
my GodMa..

Actually GM wanted me to help her buy some stuff
back from TW so she wanted to pass me the sample,
and mum wanted to watch opera,
so we decided to support GM when she performing..

In case you are wondering,
my GM is an opera singer/performer or whatever you
call it, and she already had 30 over years of experience in it..
wooww~ and she's still have the passion for it!
How cool!

Grandpa used to bring me to watch it when I was much younger
but given my standard of comprehension for Hokkien,
I barely understand a thing..

Today, my standard for Hokkien improved
tremendously.. hahas.. like real!
At least quite a bit of improvement compared to previously!

So when I was there, at the make-shift 'theatre',
watching the opera from backstage really enlightened me..
Never mind tt you're laughing at me, or my limited
comprehension for the language spoken! hahas..

I think it is a form of art - seeing how the performers
put on their makeup and costumes to the point
when they are performing on stage..
Though I can only comprehend 50% of the content,
and had ppl explained to me what's really happening..
Its kinda a 'wow' moment for me and I really
enjoyed it..

At the start, I was trying to hint my mum to go home
cos I want to prepare some stuff for tml..
And towards the middle, it was mummy bugging me to go back home
and me, ignoring her.. hahahas.

The performers which was my GM's friends..
Asked me to try putting on the makeup and costumes..
hahahs.. I thought it was funny at first so I rejected but
I should have try it..
Who knows 10 years down the road, I may take over my GM's legacy
and sing opera too? lols..

That will happen only, if I can master my CHINESE and HOKKIEN..
For now, I want to go and support GM, and watch opera again!! :D
